It trains practitioners to use judgement, timing and human adaptability, not just scripts or single-method protocols. In the information age, that is what helps practitioners stay relevant, credible and difficult to replace.
02 - The Certification
MSC Method® Training
The Training is the teaching and certification arm of the MSC Method® ecosystem.
It gives life coaches, therapists and practitioners one clear training pathway, rather than fragmented courses, disconnected models and multiple external bodies.
From Foundation to Practitioner to Advanced, the training provides a structured route for those working within coaching, wellbeing, relaxation, personal development and performance contexts.
03 - The Community
MSC Method® Guild
The Guild is the professional membership arm of the MSC Method® ecosystem.
The training educates. The guild recognises, supports and develops certified practitioners after qualification.
Together, they create one integrated pathway for training, certification, ethical standards, continued development, visibility and professional belonging, without relying on multiple outside organisations.
The profession has changed. Most training hasn't.
Clients arrive informed, sceptical and more exposed to competing voices than ever before. AI has shifted the baseline. One modality is no longer sufficient. The modern practitioner needs clear thinking, ethical integration and the ability to choose the right tool at the right moment. That is the gap the MSC Method® was built to fill.

You can enter the MSC Method® training pathway (Cert.MSCM) directly, without completing the Foundation course.
ADVANCED PRACTITIONER
The highest individual certification in the MSC Method® framework.
Open to all Cert.MSCM holders, whether you came through the Foundation pathway or entered as a qualified hypnotherapist. Your route in doesn't matter. Your commitment to going further does.
Advanced application, stronger ethical boundaries, deeper integration, and more confident use of the framework across coaching, wellbeing and performance settings. deeper integration of the five disciplines, building on everything learned at the practitioner level and pushing it significantly further.
This is not a continuation course. It is a deliberate step into a level of practice most therapy training never reaches.
On completion, you gain the right to use the highest individual post-nominal in the MSC Method® framework.

MSC Advanced Practitioner (Adv.MSCM)
PRACTITIONER
Open to coaches, therapists and practitioners from any discipline who are ready to go further than their current training allows.
To enrol, you must hold either: · The MSC Method® Foundation in Hypnotherapy certificate · Or a recognised hypnotherapy qualification from an established training provider
This ensures every Cert.MSCM shares the same baseline before progressing into the MSC Method® framework.
The Practitioner certification then teaches not just what to use, but also when and how to combine five evidence-based disciplines for safe, structured and effective coaching, wellbeing and performance outcomes.
It is designed for practitioners who want to become more adaptable, effective and better equipped for the future of therapy and performance work. On completion, you will be eligible to join the Guild as a credentialed, future-ready practitioner.

The MSC Method® Guild is not an add-on. It is the professional home of the ecosystem.

Rather than teaching a single method in isolation, it develops the judgement to understand what to use, when, why and how, depending on the client, the context and the goal.

MSC Method® training is designed for therapists, hypnotherapists, life coaches and helping professionals who want to move beyond single-discipline work. It is suitable for both new entrants and experienced practitioners, depending on the level entered. The training is built for those who want a more modern, adaptable and future-ready way of practising.

Yes. The Foundation in Hypnosis and Hypnotherapy is designed as the entry point for those without a previous hypnotherapy qualification such as life coaches and other counsellors. It provides theory, structure and practical grounding needed before progressing into the wider MSC Method® practitioner pathway.

Yes. If you already hold a recognised hypnotherapy qualification, you may be eligible to enter directly into the Practitioner pathway without completing the Foundation stage. This allows experienced practitioners to join the MSC Method® ecosystem at the appropriate level while ensuring a consistent clinical standard across the Academy.

Yes. Both the practitioner and advanced courses deliver 25 hours of structured professional learning, and your certificate details the hours, content, and outcomes needed for any CPD log.
More importantly, graduates join the MSC Method® Guild, our own progression hub. The Guild provides ongoing development, live meetings, and a community post certification.
If you currently belong to another professional body (NCH, GHR, ACCPH, Association for Coaching, or similar), Cert.MSCM will sit comfortably within their flexible CPD frameworks. We've designed the course to meet that standard.

Most therapy training focuses on a single modality or teaches disciplines separately. MSC Method® is different because it is built around integration, judgment, and real-world application. The method is drawn from Neil's ongoing clinical practice at My Soul Coach and years as a martial arts school master instructor. The MSC Method is a protected ecosystem that combines a framework, a structured certification pathway, and a directory Guild, helping practitioners build a broader and more future-ready standard of practice in an AI-shaped world.

The MSC Method® Guild is the membership arm of the ecosystem for certified practitioners. It is designed to offer more than a certificate alone, with an evolving community hub that may include member visibility, ongoing training opportunities, future events, conferences, and continued development within the MSC Method® framework. It exists to support long-term identity, connection and progression.

Founding cohort places for the Practitioner Certification (Cert.MSCM) are priced at £367 over 60% below the post-launch RRP of £967. Available until 01/09/2026. This includes two days of live, in-person training with Neil Sunley and lifetime Guild 1.0 membership with all the benefits. A payment plan is available on request.
Foundation places (for those without a prior hypnotherapy qualification) are available separately. Pricing is provided on enquiry, as entry level is confirmed as part of the application.
Advanced Practitioner (Adv.MSCM) is open to Cert.MSCM holders. Founding pricing applies here too — details provided on request.

Neil Sunley is a clinical hypnotherapist, performance psychology coach and the creator of the MSC Method®, a trademarked framework built from 25 years of frontline practice.
His background began in martial arts and performance coaching, where discipline, focus and mental resilience were lived principles long before they became professional ones. That results-driven foundation shapes the MSC Method® today.
Since qualifying in 2001, Neil has continued to evolve his work through clinical experience, applied performance psychology and mental health studies through his university research projects.
Across thousands of sessions with clients, students and contemporary research, one principle kept proving itself:
lasting results rarely come from rigid loyalty to one discipline. They come from knowing how to combine the right approaches, at the right time, for the right person.
That insight became the foundation of the MSC Method®.
Today, Neil’s work spans therapy, performance and practitioner development, with workshops and training delivered across the UK. The Academy exists because traditional training often teaches disciplines in isolation, while modern practice demands integration.
